IIFS honours Dr Tamdin with Vijay Shree Award

India International Friendship Society (IIFS) honoured Dr Tsewang Tamdin, the Deputy Director of the Men-Tsee-Khang with India’s most coveted Institutional Presentation of “Viyay Shree Award” along with certificate of excellence on 2 September, New Delhi, at a glittering function befitting of the great event. This is a government-recognized award for meritorious services, outstanding perfor-mance and remarkable role in the society in recognition to Dr Tamdin’s dedicated services to the people of India and world at large through Tibetan Medical practises.

The coveted institutional and globally reputed award to Dr Tamdin is indeed an honour for the Tibetan people who struggle for their livelihood here in India since their arrival in 1959 as refugees.

The award was by presented by Shri Haroon Yusuf, Honorable Minister of Transport and Power, Government of Delhi.
