Guest lecturers at Men-Tsee-Khang College

The Tibetan Medical & Astro. College organises a special talk for students on Friday evenings. This platform provides the students an opportunity to learn many more apart from their regular college curriculum. The managing committee of this programme invites guest lecturers to give talks on various topics relating to Tibetan culture and college curriculum. From July-September they have invited two guest lecturers.

9 September: Sera Je Lharam Geshe Thupten Tashi gave talk on daily practices derived from mind-body relationships.

30 September: Dr Tsewang
Tamdin, the deputy director of the Men-Tsee-Khang, gave lecture on his personal experiences on the unique diagnostic procedure of Tibetan medicine—visual, touch, and interrogation.

6 October: Geshe Lhakdor la, former interpreter of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the present Director of the Library of Tibetan Works & Archives, gave lecture on Love & Compassion.

10-15 October: Mrs. Catherine and Mrs. Tekhla from Canada gave lecture on Healing Touch.

18-19 October: Ms. Ida from Italy, a Masotherapist, gave lecture on Massage Therapy.

28 October: Lharam Geshe Dorjee Damdul la, the interpreter of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, gave lecture on relationships between Science and Tibetan Buddhism and, reasons to do collective analysis on Tibetan Buddhism & Science.

18 November: Sera Je Hadong Lharam Geshe Thupten Tashi la gave lecture on Going Refugee and Karma.

30 November: Former Abbot of Namgyal Monastery Jhado Rinpoche gave lecture relating to the importance of Kalachakra (Wheel of Time) initiation to interested people who intend to attend the teaching in Amaravathi.
