Medical tour to Uzbekistan

Monday, 18 September: Dr. Tamdin Sangmo, CMO of Kollegal Men-Tsee-Khang clinic, toured Taskent and Andijon, Uzbekistan, from 18 July to 2 August for a medical consultation tour organised by Bobur Foundation.

The doctor gave medical consultation to 108 patients in the two regions. Majority of the patients are reported to be suffering from nerve related, stress, arthritis, gallstone, bile tumour and blood pressure diseases.

It is reported that the people of Uzbek have strong faith and believe in Tibetan medicine made from pure herbs. The organisers strongly believe that a branch clinic of Men-Tsee-Khang in Taskent will do immense help for the people of the region. They also accept to find a proper clinic site in their vicinity if Men-Tsee-Khang feels it appropriate.
