Men-Tsee-Khang inaugurates a new Branch Medical Clinic in Malad, Mumbai.
 A new branch medical clinic in Malad, Mumbai was inaugurated on November 16, 2006. The Director of Branch Clinics Mr. Tsering Dorjee represented Men-Tsee-Khang from head office, Dharamsala, at the inaugural function. He was accompanied by our resident doctors of Navi Mumbai, Dr. Tashi Wangdu, Dr. Tenzin Norbu and other staff. The function started with prayers and introduction of the institute, its organisation and activities. The Director of the institute Dr. Dawa sent his inaugural speech that was read out at the function by Mr. Tsering Dorjee. There were two hundred participants at the function. The team from the institute had replied enquiries made by some of the participants and the correspondent of Times of India about the institute and the Tibetan Medicine.
The infrastructure of the new branch clinic was arranged by Mr. Sanjay V. Shah, a philanthropist, who had long been associated with our institute. The clinic is housed in a renovated building of the “Shree Malad Jain Yuvak Mandal Medical Relief Centre” and Mr. Sanjay V Shah had financed the entire renovation. |
