Men-Tsee-Khang tours Kalpa region

A three-member team headed by Dr Lobsang Shakya toured Kalpa area for a medical camp from 7-12 June. Mr. Kusang Tenzin and Mr. Tsering Gyaltsen accompanied the doctor. The tour came in the wake of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s teaching on the Path to Liberation there.
The administration deputes Dr Dawa Dolma, the Director of the Clinical Research Department to visit the area as part of the entourage of the Dalai Lama to offer medical consultation to His Holiness. She also joined hand with the medical team in providing medical consultations to the general public.

The team gave medical consultation to 223 patients during the camp. All of them received free consultations.

Men-Tsee-Khang wishes to extend its gratitude to Chögön Rinpoche for the hospitality shown to the team during their stay in the region.
