Free medical camp at Dharamkot, Dharamsala
In connection with the world health day, a free medical camp was organised by Men-Tsee-Khang on 7 April at Dharamkot, Dharamsala.
One of the members of the Indo-Tibetan Friendship Society believes this free medical camp will further strengthen and cement better understanding and relationship between Tibetans and the local Indians in the region. During the opening remarks to the visitor who throng the campsite, he reaterated better cooperation to make peaceful coexistance amongst the people of the two races.
The chief guest to this gathering was the Liaison Officer, Ministery of External Affairs, Government of India, who also urged the same cooperation from the both end.
The three-member team was headed by Dr. Dekyi Tsomo of the Gangkyi clinic. She gave free medical consultation and medication to nearly 40 patients.
