“National Seminar-Cum-Workshop on Tibetan Medicine”

We are happy to inform you that the Central Council of Tibetan Medicine(CCTM) and Tibetan Medical and Astro.Institute (TMAI), Dharamsala will jointly organize a “National Seminar-Cum-Workshop on Tibetan Medicine” at Dharamasala from 24-28th March 2008.

The Organizing Committee will be inviting eminent scholars and experts of various medical systems that includes Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, conventional medicine and of course Tibetan Medicine. Therefore, we expect maximum number of practitioners to participate and avail this opportunity.

In order to get enrolled into the National Seminar-cum-Workshop on Tibetan Medicine, we expect you to get your name registered before 15th of December, 2007.

It is to inform all the participants that except lunch, all other expenses (travelling, lodging) have to be borne by individual participant and one has to arrange the accommodation by oneself.

Any doctors who have not yet registered under The Central Council of Tibetan Medicine (CCTM) and those who are not under the administration of Tibetan Medical and Astro.Institute (TMAI) will have to pay a registration fee of Rs.500/ for the entire five days event.

We will be also bringing a special issue of Medical Journal during the Seminar. Therefore, we welcome any article on Tibetan Medicine either in English or Tibetan. The article can be on any subject from Medical history to Clinical research, Literary and personal experiences on clinical practice. Note that the article should be in the range of 5-15 standard A4 paper and must reach us before 5th Nov.2007. There will be a separate committee who will select the best articles and the selected articles will be published in the journal. As a token of appreciation, the writer will be rewarded with 5 medical journals and certain amount of cash.
