All the computers of Men-tsee-khang comes under the jurisdiction of this department.   

This department is consist of two qualified staff and their duties are as follows:

1. Network & System Administration

2. The department has implemented an Open Source Firewall and DMZ for the LAN of the Tibetan Medical & Astrology

3. The department's staff are also involved in the remote management of the Dharamsala's Community Mesh Network.

4. The staff also manages Windows 2000 network for softwares compatible only with Microsoft.

5. Examining network traffic and monitoring network performance through use of Network Monitoring tools e.g. MRTG and Smokeping

6. The Windows 2000 serves as a mail Server that will involve collection and distribution of the mails to the different departments through the network.

7. Creating a Website for the Institute and searching for a feasible online Credit Card Processing.

8. To update website on a daily Basis. This will involve collecting information and setting it up on the site.

9. Developing and maintainance Content Management System for the Institute to manage various database of the medicines, staff and payroll.

10. The department also handles all the Desktop Publishing needs of the Institute.
